Hands-Drawing and Painting four

Our next assignment is focusing on contour line drawings of hands and objects interacting in a way that shows a message. I thinking of using red ink for the hands and using washes like I did on one sketchbook a while ago which led into my concentration. I am figuring out today where exactly my concentration is going, which will give me a better idea of what I am going to try to convey in my hands piece. I might use the skulls, but I am leaning towards a more abstract approach on this one.
Next assignment is shading...yay...
I think AP has spoiled me because I can do almost anything I want, but I need to keep up with the basics, so I guess that overall this will be good for me.

Sketchbook

So my brother and I were messing around with the camera when he took this really cool shot, and I used it in this sketchbook page and it will also be in a big concentration piece. I have been experimenting with more weird colors because I can only deal with red and yellow for so long. So, for my first drawing and painting 4 post...

Winter Ponderings...

I know I mentioned this dude before, but I thought it would be nice to put up some pictures of the artists I was looking at...
This one is by Daniel Egneus. He's an illustrator that does a bunch of high fashion looking pieces but has a few quirky ones as well.
Makes methinks I'll try ink and washes again...

A piece by Zhou Fan. His stuff is really graphic and uses lots of vibrant colors, pretty.

And in time for the cold weather, Hope Gangloff. I think I have already mentioned her, but here is a picture!
